Printing and Decorating

These include:

  • Frosting/Acid Etching
(Either by spraying/lacquering or immersing in acid for more permanent finish on glass.)
  • Hot Foil Stamping/Foil Blocking
(A coloured foil is transferred or stamped to a container or closure using an embossed hot rubber die)
  • Metallisation
  • Silk Screen Printing
  • Thermal Transfer Print Labelling with photographic quality
(Can provide ‘no label’ look with photographic image quality of up to ten different colours.)
  • Spraying Lacquering
(Spraying and Lacquering can include solid colours, transparent colours, matt or glossy and graded coating for fade out look.)
  • Sand Blasting
  • Off Set Printing
(A process that utilizes two rollers to transfer ink/image to closures and jars. Ink is transferred from a flat roller to an embossed design on a second roller which then transfers the ink/artwork to the surface of the jar or closure. Multiple coloured images can be printed using multiple rollers)

We have included some examples of the types of decorating that Neville and More can provide.

Frosting/lacquering followed by silk-screen printing for in-relief effect.

An example of spraying/lacquering of solid metallic colour. Under layer of aluminium then second layer followed by flame curing.

Internal mirror treatment followed by flame curing. Second layer of translucent spraying/lacquering followed by second flame curing.

Iridescent spray lacquering in different finish colours followed by heat curing.

An example of spraying/lacquering of solid metallic colour. Under layer of aluminium then translucent second layer followed by flame curing.

Large grain sand blasting followed by red spraying/lacquering then flame curing. Silk screen printing then second flame curing.

Partial acid etching of glass bottle using hydrofluoric acid (acid etching is not effective on glass bottles and jars that have been exposed to hot end tin treatment).

An example of an aluminium jar with Thermal Transfer Print Labelling.
This process can provide ‘no label’ look with photographic image quality of up to ten different colours.

Multi-Pass contoured silk screen printing followed by flame curing.

Internal blue lacquering followed by flame curing. Contoured silk-screen printing followed by second flame curing.

Modified finish mould design. Then partial shaded aluminium metallic spray lacquering followed by translucent blue lacquering and flame curing.

Lacquering with two ‘incompatible’ lacquers that chemically interact during curing to create ‘crackled’ effect. Second protective spray lacquering followed by final heat curing. Each different bottle is unique.

‘Confetti’ four colour spraying/lacquering including total beige and blue, red and yellow confetti followed by flame curing. Each different bottle is unique.

Translucent spraying/lacquering, flame curing following by silk screen printing and in-relief silk screen printing for textured effect and final flame curing.

Enamel silk screen printing in light blue enamel, duck blue enamel and dark blue enamel followed by flame curing.

White spraying/lacquering followed by flame curing. Hot stamping under coat, drying followed by hot stamp finish coat and flame curing.
