GCMI 400 neck specification

Common neck specification for plastic and glass jars used for solid dose applications such as tablets, capsules, vitamins, powders and cosmetic products such as creams, lotions and gels. Can be used with simple screw on lids in either plastic or aluminium. The GCMI 400 neck finish varies in size from 28mm to 120mm and is the shallowest of the common neck specifications. The GCMI 400 neck finish is also often referred to as an R3 neck finish.

Common neck specification for plastic bottles used for liquid applications such as personal care products. Can be used with simple screw on plastic or aluminium caps and dispensing systems such as flip top caps, disc top caps, finger sprayers and lotion dispensers. The GCMI 410 neck finish varies in size from 18mm to 28mm and is an intermediate height neck specification.
The GCMI 24mm 410 neck finish is the most commonly used neck specification so has the greatest variety of closures available.

The GCMI 415 neck finish varies in size from 15mm to 28mm and is the tallest of the common neck specifications.

28mm Tamper Evident neck specification

Common neck specification for plastic and glass bottles used for liquid applications such as liquid medicines and personal care products. Has integral transfer bead to provide tamper evident feature. Can be used with tamper evident closures, child resistant closures and combination child resistant tamper evident closures. Can also be used with simple plastic screw on caps, aluminium screw on caps and dispensing systems such as finger sprayers and lotion dispensers.

18mm Din neck specification

Common neck specification for dropper bottles in both glass and plastic. Has integral transfer bead to provide tamper evident feature. Can be used with tamper evident closures, child resistant closures and combination child resistant tamper evident closures. Can also be used with simple screw caps. Also compatible with pipette droppers and vertical and horizontal or all round dropper caps.
